Over 90% of our supplies and raw materials from local farms and businesses are purchased by Wild for Oregon. To harvest local finds such as coastal kelp, mints from the Mt. Hood area, and fresh beeswax, we establish relationships with other Oregon companies. From natural botanicals and clays, our products get their color and their fragrance from pure essential oils.

We love where we live, and in our goods, it shows. These authentic Oregon handmade gifts, from fragrant soap bars and lotions to moisturizing lip balms, bring people back to nature and invoke the beauty and character of the Pacific Northwest.

So far in our lives, we've let technology and social media come to describe them. How many times have you scrolled through feeds that equate your life to a total stranger's carefully selected moments? Or lose track of time browsing the web mindlessly? We get it, it's critical for technology-how it's we stay linked and progressive. But how can you escape from sucking the everyday time without going off-the-grid completely? Quitting cold turkey is impossible for most of us. A balance has to be there.

The beginning of our journey

Our story began in 2009 with the purchase at an Oregon farmer's market of a bar of handmade soap. We fell in love with the concept of making goods that are designed with the same beautiful simplicity as their inspiring nature. Every product is named after a part of the natural landscape of Oregon and carries the Pacific Northwest's rugged, vibrant spirit. Natural colorants, tinctures, additives, and/or scents are produced for each batch of soap, lotion, lip balm, and candles.

For some amount of time, being outside is heaven. No chimes from status updates or emails that were unanswered. You find the pleasure that only pure-in-the-moment mindfulness can offer by staying out of your own brain.
